Born and raised in Orlando, FL, dance was always a safe place for Imani. From tap and ballet classes starting at 3 years old, she always found joy in being on stage and performing. Her love for singing blossomed first through opportunities at church, and her joy for theatre first sparked with a production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. at her elementary school where she played a turtle.

She continued to take dance classes through to age 11, and dipped her toes in other extracurriculars such as volleyball and Girl Scouts, but found her way back to the stage in 8th grade with a production of The Little Mermaid at Magic Curtain Productions. Owner and Founder Rhonda Cato took her under her wing and filled Imani with excitement and knowledge of Musical Theatre.

Throughout high school, she performed in an acting troupe, and gained a love for theatre that carried her to college, where she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Post college, Imani has worked as a performer, model and teaching artist throughout Pennsylvania, and continues to find joy and self-growth in storytelling. She hopes to soon branch out into Film and TV in the coming years.
